To understand the importance of antioxidants for health protection, to acquire the know-how for raising our antioxidant intake easily, affordably and tastily – so as to create food variations to suit one’s lifestyle.

– what they are, why they are key for fighting cancer and many other chronic diseases
– why it is important for all of us to have a large reserve of them
– from common sources, frozen foods and dried foods
– healthiest sweeteners, how much fruit is too much?
– fruit ripeness
– detoxifying and alkalizing nature of fruit, vegetables, nuts & seeds
– what can deplete antioxidant level in our body

c) Whole food ingredients and nutrition facts from
– fruits like mangoes, bananas

3. Interaction:

What participants will do:

– Form teams of about 4 persons
– Prepare some ingredients, operate the power blender
– Adjust taste of smoothies, serve smoothies to everyone
– Consider implementation steps for smoothie making at home and workplace
– Share experiences and views, discuss
– Ask questions
