Normally, after a day of eating vegetables, I must eat rice the next day. If not, my tummy will get wind, and I will feel bloated. But, after the first and second day of this retreat, my body started to detoxify, and I didn’t feel bloated or have wind. I brought an extra t-shirt which had been too small. But now, when I try to wear it, it fits, as you can see.
I have quite severe diabetes. By Day 2 of the retreat, my blood glucose had started dropping significantly. Same for my husband. I think I know how to prepare food good for diabetes when I get back home.
